Set DropDownList Items Alignment

Hi

How can I set my dropdownlist Itmes alignement right rether than left?

I bound them from a database??

<asp:DropDownList width="100%" Runat="Server" ID="ddlCollege" DataTextField="CollegeName" Style="text-align: center;" DataValueField="CollegeID" Autopostback="True" OnSelectedIndexChanged="ShowDepartmentsEvents"/>

on the behind code I select values from the database??

Can Someone help??

Setting style="text-align:right" on the dropdown list will work in Firefox, but I don't think there is any way to do this on Internet Explorer 6.

I'm afraid you cannot do that unless you create you own dropdownlist :(

Hope my suggestion helps.

Set html table width at run time (in code)

Hi
How can I get a html control in my code?
I have a html table that I want the width is defined in code at run time,
i.e., I have this table and I have a datagrid. This datagrid have a variable
width because the number of columns depends of something that I have (that
is not important for this). Now, what I want is that the html table have
always the same width of my datagrid because of alignment of both.
NOTE: I must have (and want) the datagrid width variable and not fixed

rucaset its attribute runat=server, but you'll probably still have problems
while tables align width depending on its content... You can hardly create
different tables with same width. The only chance is when content never
exceedes desired table (or better said cell) width.

You will have to set that. I told you in my first answer this is a tough
one. The best suggestion I could give you is to put both (table and
Datagrid) inside another table set both control's width to 100%. They would
perfectly align and everything will depend on the width of the containing
table cell.
And you probably won't have to wory about widths of both parts of the
page... Or better said tables, while a datagris is also a table.

One doesn't do this sort of things in the code. Put both the table and the
grid in another table as it's been suggested in another reply.

set icon for website_deploy DLL file

Hi;

How can I set the icon for the DLL file a portla deploy project creates?

Cubicle Wars - http://www.windwardreports.com/film.htmHello Dave,

As for the setting Icon for the project dll file, do you mean you want your
project's assembly dll has a own Icon as an exe application? If so, I'm
afraid this setting can not be configured individually. It is the windows
shell that controls the icon of each file extension(stored in registry).
And the "exe" is a particular case that the Icon of each exe program can be
defined in the exe itself(as an embeded resource). For other extension
such as "dll", you can only specify a fixed icon for all the files (of that
extension) globally. To do this, you use the "tools-->folder
options-->file types" and use the "advance" setting to change the icon for
all files of a given extension.
